Rajya Sabha to discuss OP vermilion on 29 July

A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the Rajya Sabha was held in the capital on Wednesday. During the meeting, it was decided to discuss Operation Sindoor in Rajya Sabha on 29 July.

According to sources, the government, however, denied the opposition’s demand for the farewell speech by former Vice President Jagdeep Dhikar. The government agreed on the demand of the opposition that seven MPs who would be retired will be allowed to give farewell speech:

Earlier, the meeting of the Vocational Advisory Committee of the Lok Sabha was held on Monday.

According to sources, a discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha is likely to begin next week, 16 hours have been allotted for the operation after a general consent. Oposeton parties are demanding the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the debate on Operation Sindoor.

Meanwhile, Congress leader and Lok Sabha leader of Prevention (LOP) Rahul Gandhi hit the “ceasefire” claims made by US President Donald Trump to hit Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his silence on the “ceasefire”.

Suggesting that no one could hide from reality, he said that the whole world knows that Trump announced the “ceasefire” between India and Pakistan.

“How is the Prime Minister making a statement? What will say PM, that Trump is Karva? (What would he say? That it is announced by Trump? He cannot say this, but it is the truth. The whole world knows that Trump has declared a ceasefire. We can’t hide from reality,” Gandhi said here.

He said, “This is not just about a ceasefire. There are many major issues we want to discuss with defense, defense construction and operation vermilion. The situation is not normal; the whole nation knows,” he said.

Gandhi said that the Prime Minister is not able to provide a single response to Trump’s claims about a ceasefire, which he has repeated 25 times so far.

“Those who call themselves ‘patriot’ have run away. The Prime Minister is unable to make a single statement. Trump claimed 25 times that he has declared a ceasefire. Who is that? It is not his job. However, the Prime Minister did not respond once. It is reality. It is reality.”

Gandhi said, “He has destroyed our foreign policy. You can hardly rely on your fingers.

This came after a recent statement by Donald Trump, where he reiterated his claims of “stopping the war between India and Pakistan” in the name of trade deals. (AI)
