Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Sunday that he cannot visit the cloudburst-affected areas of Kishtwar due to bad weather, but reviewed the ground situation in Chishoti village through video conferencing from Jammu.
Singh appreciated the rapid response of the state administration, army, NDRF, SDRF and J&K Police and carried out rescue and relief operations in the crisis-hit area.
The Defense Minister said, “It should be kept in mind that all agencies have done excellent work during this crisis.”
He further assured that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government is leaving “no stone unturned” to provide relief and rehabilitation to the victims of tragic incident.
