In an effort to create awareness about the helpline number, the Rajasthan Police has launched a Valentine’s Day-related campaign.

On the occasion of “Rose Day” on February 7, the police department launched the “Valentine’s Day Helpline” campaign in a poetic way.

In the first article in the series, police warned miscreants of action if they try to forcibly give roses to girls or women on Rose Day and said that if anyone commits such a crime, they can call the women’s helpline. Complaint 1090.

The police explained this in a funny way with poetry and said in Hindi: “Use jabran gulab-e-gul de diya, usne helpline 1090 parphone kiya aur hamen sabak sikha diya.”

Officials said throughout the Valentine’s Day campaign, the police aim to make people aware that women or children, victims of cyber crime or victims of corruption can get immediate help through the helpline number.

“This is a creative way to engage people and initiatives like this raise awareness,” an official from the police department said.

So far, five such posts have been shared on various social media platforms including X, Facebook and Instagram, with three more expected.

In the second article in the series, the Rajasthan Police warns offenders while providing information about its cyber helpline number 1930.

“Usne kiya propose aur password-OTP le liya. Pal bhar mein wafa ke naam parbank ka khata khali kar diya,” the post read in Hindi.

Apart from 1090 and 1930, the police department also shared three similar posts on its helpline numbers 1064 (corruption), 1098 (children) and 18001801253 (senior citizens).
