Jaipur, October 1 (IANS) In preparation for the upcoming by -election in Anda assembly constituency in Rajasthan, the final voter list was officially published on Wednesday under the guidelines of the Election Commission of India.
The list was released as part of the special summary amendment based on the eligibility date of July 1, 2025.
A meeting was chaired by District Election Officer Rohtashav Singh Tomar and representatives of local media to mark a meeting to mark the final publication.
During the session, hard copy, CD and pen drive with updated voter lists were handed over to party representatives in the presence of journalists to ensure transparency.
State Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan said that political parties were already informed about the special summary amendment program.
He confirmed that the final voter list has now been released after completing the process of claims and objections.
At the time of draft publication, the total number of voters in Antah constituency was 226,227, with 115,982 male voters, 110,241 female voters and 4 voters were classified as ‘others’.
During the amendment period from 3 to 17 September, 2025, citizens presented claims and objections about the draft list.
All such submissions were addressed and resolved by September 25, 2025.
According to the final voter list published on 1 October, the total number of voters registered in Anda assembly constituency has increased to 227,563. This includes 116,405 male voters, 111,154 female voters and 4 others.
Representatives of political party and media were also informed about the upcoming election process on the latest guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India.
The publication of the final list is a major milestone in the run-up for the by-election.
