Raj Deputy CM donated blood as part of ‘Seva Pakhwada’ on PM Modi’s birthday

Jaipur, September 17 (IANS) On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, ‘Seva Pakhwada’ began on Wednesday with a call to dedicate two weeks to service-oriented activities in Rajasthan.

To mark the launch, a large -scale blood donation and medical camp was organized in Vidyadhar Nagar, Jaipur, where Deputy Chief Minister Dia Kumari donated her blood and motivated citizens to join the campaign for service and social responsibility.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “We can bring positive changes in the society only by working with the spirit of service.” Seva Pakhwada “is an opportunity for all of us to dedicate ourselves to the welfare of people.”

He urged citizens, party workers and workers to come forward and contribute to the needy people through blood donation, medical aid and social service initiatives.

Dye CM Dia Kumari insisted that a series of awareness activities should be completed during the fortnight, which highlights individuals who are contributing to society through selfless service.

“It is important to bring such people at the forefront and respect them so that their example inspires others,” he said.

He also underlined the importance of organizing health camps, cleanliness drives and sanitation activities, especially in slum areas.

He called upon the workers to travel their wards daily to ensure proper cleanliness and kept the responsibility of maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in urban and rural settlements equally.

Highlighting the benefits of the Central and State Government’s welfare schemes, Dye CM said that these initiatives are reaching every section of the society. He appealed to the people to actively participate in blood donation drives and other service-related activities to save more lives and strengthen the collective spirit of service.

The ‘Seva Pakhwada’, seen from 17 September to 2 October, will include medical camps, tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaign and awareness drives in Rajasthan, aims to promote the values โ€‹โ€‹of service, responsibility and community welfare.
