Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday (November 3) taunted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav by calling them the “three monkeys of the Bharat alliance”.

Addressing an election rally in Keoti assembly constituency in Darbhanga district, the senior BJP leader said the “three new monkeys” are unable to see, unwilling to listen and unable to speak about all the good work being done by the ruling NDA.

The firebrand leader said, “Mahatma Gandhi’s three monkeys used to see, hear and speak no evil. But now, we have three monkeys of the Indian alliance. The new monkeys are Pappu, who does not see any good in the NDA, Tappu, who cannot hear about it and Akku, who does not accept it while speaking.”

He also alleged that Congress, RJD and SP were embracing criminals in Bihar, giving an opportunity to infiltrators to compromise the security of the state.

Adityanath alleged, these are the people who divide people in the name of caste and create riots.

He said, “Let us take a pledge that we will neither be divided nor fight with each other (na batenge, na cutenge).”

Referring to the alleged misgovernance when the RJD-Congress alliance was in power in Bihar, he alleged, “Then, ration shops were looted. Today, 80 crore people including Bihar are getting free ration.” Adityanath claimed that if the NDA government returned to power in Bihar, it would “drive the infiltrators out of the state, and redistribute their wealth among the poor”.

Adityanath said the BJP has fulfilled its promise of building a Ram temple in Ayodhya, and now it will “build a temple of Maa Janaki in Sitamarhi and connect it to Ayodhya through Ram Janaki Marg”.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has constituted the Makhana Board and the double engine government in the state is working to promote “Lakh bangles” – traditional bangles made of natural resin called lac.

Addressing another rally in Muzaffarpur district, Adityanath alleged that the RJD has “deprived Bihar of its identity”.

He claimed, “To regain the lost glory of the state, the people of Bihar are committed to electing the double engine NDA government.”

He claimed that the NDA government provides “prosperity and security” as well as “vikas and heritage (development and heritage conservation)”.

Adityanath alleged that more than 30,000 kidnappings took place during the RJD rule.

“Even IAS and IPS officers were not willing to work in Bihar as they were expected to carry Lalu Prasad’s spittoon,” he claimed.
