Bhopal:

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will spend the night in Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol district as his helicopter is unable to take off due to bad weather, a party worker said on Monday.

Rahul Gandhi was in Madhya Pradesh to campaign for his party’s Lok Sabha campaign and addressed two rallies in Mandela and Shahdor ahead of the April 26 polls.

“Due to bad weather in Shahdol, his helicopter could not take off. Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to fly to Delhi from Jabalpur,” Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari told PTI.

“Now, he will stay overnight at a hotel in Shahdol and leave at 6 am on Tuesday morning,” Mr. Patwari informed.
