New Delhi, 5 October (IANS) In a fast political attack, BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Sunday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of repeatedly defaming India on foreign soil and reducing his cultural values.
Speaking to IANS during an event in Amritsar, Chugh said that Gandhi was working against India’s interests by being a part of “foreign tools”.
“It is unfortunate that people who once defamed India by being a part of a foreign toolkit and are now using their followers to claim the title of ‘Jaan Nayak’ to see the nation through a ‘Italian lens’,” Chug commented.
He further alleged that Rahul Gandhi had lost the moral right to nominate the leader of the people by insulting the Indian Army and the national icons.
He said, “Rahul Gandhi wears Italian lenses and becomes a part of an international toolkit, which aims to tarnish the image of India globally. A person who disrespects our army and great leaders cannot be a mass hero,” he said. “The people of this country have rejected the Gandhi-Nehru family several times. The public will never accept its foreign mindset,” said Chugh.
He also told the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the vision of Rahul Gandhi, which was said:
He said, “Under PM Modi, India’s youth are committed to nation-building, while some leaders are busy defaming the country on foreign platforms,” he said.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi’s recent comments were responded abroad, JD (U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar also criticized the Congress leader.
“One should not react to the internal affairs of the country while living abroad. We have tradition for political differences, but never at the cost of national unity. Since Rahul Gandhi mostly studied outside India, he only talks about our country only after going abroad. Perhaps it is because of his upbringing,” Kumar commented.
He said that India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. There is a land of huge leaders like APJ Abdul Kalam and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who put the nation at the top.
