Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Saturday raised a strong question on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding an explanation of US President Donald Trump’s “Five Jets Shot Down” claims about the claims made in his speech.
In a post on X, Gandhi said, “Modi ji, what is the truth about 5 ships? The country has the right to know!”
This comes when Donald Trump once again claimed to stop the India-Pakistan struggle on Saturday.
By joining the attack, Congress leader P Chidambaram questioned the government’s silence and credibility. “After President Trump’s latest statement, what the Government of India has to say? There is no answer,” he wrote in a post on X.
He further said, “I would like to believe in the Government of India, but if the government does not tell the truth-so doesn’t really say anything on the results of the 5-day war-what do we believe?”
Earlier, in the day, Congress MP Jeram Ramesh in his latest speech, in his latest speech, excavated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his “friendship and hagsi” with the US President, seeking clarification on the “Five Jets Shot Down” claims.
