New Delhi, September 18 (IANS) Lok Sabha Leader of Prevention (LOP) Rahul Gandhi on Thursday launched a new aggressive aggressive aggressively on the Election Commission of India, claiming that votes were being removed from Congress booths through fake logins conducted through ‘centralized system’. Gandhi claimed that such votes were being deleted everywhere and especially named the Alnd constituency in Karnataka, where he claimed that 6,018 voters were removed. He said that the votes of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and the marginalized communities were being targeted with a purpose to benefit a certain party.
He said that the voter is a solid and complete proof of the deletion through a fake login, claiming that a ‘centralized model’ was removing votes in booths using call centers.
He claimed that a ‘crime’ was revealed after a blow in Alund, Karnataka that one of his relatives was removed from the election role.
He said that the removal of 6,018 votes is being investigated in Currenta.
“Karnataka EC started investigating the alleged vote deletion and wrote at least 18 letters seeking clarification on it, and also the reason for such deletion. In February 2023, the investigation began. In March, in March, Karnataka CID demanded details of OTP and call records, but also revealed that in the vote dissonance,” he told the media.
