Republic day 2024: Emmanuel Macron will land in Rajasthan’s Jaipur today.

French President Emmanuel Macron will arrive in India today, on the invitation of PM Modi as the chief guest at the 75th Republic Day. Mr Macron will land in Rajasthan’s Jaipur and will be joined PM Modi for a tour of a couple of heritage sites and a roadshow in the pink city.

President Macron had accepted the last minute invite for the Republic Day celebration, which has been read as a mark on the strength of the bilateral relations between the two nations.

Here is Emmanuel Macron’s full schedule:

2:30 pm: Arrival at Jaipur airport
3:15 pm: Visit Amer Fort
5:30 pm: Visit Jantar Mantar
6:00 pm: Shobha Yatra (Venue: Jantar Mantar)
6:15 pm: Visit Hawa Mahal
7:15 pm: Meeting with Prime Minister (Venue: Hotel Taj Rambagh Palace)
8:50 pm: Emplane for Delhi
9:40 pm: Arrive Delhi (Venue: Air Force Station Palam)

Mr Macron’s state visit marks France’s sixth participation, the highest of any other nation, as chief guest on India’s Republic Day.
