The agreement was signed at the National Museum of Qatar by Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, and Isha Ambani, Director of Reliance Industries Limited. This collaboration will introduce innovative teaching models of QM into Indian schools and cultural learning spaces through NMACC, while also enabling the creation of new joint programmes.
Under the partnership, NMACC will work with Reliance Foundation to launch programs in multiple regions of India, including rural and underprivileged areas. Qatar Museums experts, including Daddu, an expert from the Children’s Museum of Qatar, will lead masterclasses and provide practical advice to teachers, volunteers and facilitators.
The initiative will focus on early childhood education while equipping teachers with new tools, materials and play-based methods designed to foster creativity, empathy and discovery. The programs will be implemented in schools, Anganwadiand community centres.
As part of the collaboration, Dadu’s Museum-in-Residence program will bring its Light Atelier, an intensive, hands-on learning environment for children aged 3-7 years, to India, expanding Dadu’s learning-through-play philosophy beyond Qatar.
This partnership builds on Qatar Museums’ broader commitment to global cultural exchange aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030, and is another step in NMACC’s mission to bring global best practices to India while sharing Indian culture with the world.
