The Bhagwantman government in Punjab has given a big gift to its employees on the occasion of Diwali. The Punjab government has increased family allowance (DA) for state government employees by 4%. The increased allowance will apply from November 1. The Punjab government announced a 4% increase in living allowance for government employees and pensioners.
This increased from 38% to 42%. After the Punjab government takes this decision, more than 650,000 employees and pensioners in the state will benefit significantly.
Punjab government increases DA for employees
The notification issued by the Punjab government had said that employees are an important part of the state government. It states that protecting the interests of the defendant is the state government’s top priority.
