Punjab CM says that Bhagat Singh Heritage Complex will be opened soon

Chandigarh, September 28 (IANS) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann paid floral tribute to ‘Shaheed-e-Azam’ Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary on Sunday and said that Bhagat Singh Heritage Complex, which are the original villages of the martyr, will soon be dedicated.

He said that work on this complex is going on in full swing and Bhagat Singh is being constructed as a tribute at a cost of Rs 51.70 crore.

The Chief Minister said that the prestigious martyr sacrificed his life to free India from the chains of foreign imperialism.

He said that this ambitious project would serve as a source of inspiration for future generations, which to serve the country selflessly, the purpose of adding this important initiative is to preserve and promote the unique heritage of this great son of this great son.

He emphasized that the complex would not only be a structural monument, but an unforgettable experience in the form of visitors would give a glimpse of Bhagat Singh’s highest sacrifice, his intellectual depth and his courageous spirit to the motherland.

Chief Minister Mann reiterated that the memorial has a grand themic, a 350-meter-long heritage road, which connects the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Museum to its ancestral home, describing the life journey of Shehed-e-Azam and India’s freedom struggle, which is associated with essays for co-ordinated essays through miscreants, 2D/3D wall arts, and Pune.

He said that its 700-seats would also be a fully air-conditioned auditorium, in which a model of Bhagat Singh’s ancestral house is being constructed in Lailpur (now in Pakistan).

Additionally, the Chief Minister said that Bhagat Singh’s ancestral house is being restored in Kalan and is being preserved with digital entertainment of the freedom fighter’s court room trial, which is being developed to withdraw visitors on time and show their revolutionary enthusiasm.

Mann said that the existing library is being modernized and digitized to provide an immersive experience, stating that other facilities in the complex would include a tourist facility center, cottage, gardening landscaping, a music fountain and adequate parking space.

Earlier, the Chief Minister laid a wreath in the statue of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and also paid floral tributes at the memorial of Sardar Kishan Singh, father of the Great Martyr.
