Sony has announced that it will launch a series of games in the PlayStation Plus game catalog in March. Starting from March 19, PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium Edition subscribers will be able to experience the popular basketball simulation game “NBA 2K24”, the tactical role-playing game Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the survival horror game “Resident Evil 3”, and more. Marvel’s Midnight Sun is also coming to PS4 and PS5 this month. The tactical RPG from Firaxis Games lets players create custom superhero hunters and lead a host of Marvel heroes in turn-based combat, while also featuring deck-building mechanics. The base game includes 13 popular superheroes, including Spider-Man, Wolverine, Venom, Scarlet Witch, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk and more.
The PS Plus game catalog is also expanding its Resident Evil offerings, with 2020’s Resident Evil 3 launching this month. The survival horror game launched by Capcom is a remake of 1999’s “Resident Evil 3: Nemesis”. Players will play as former agent Jill Valentine and mercenary Carlos Oliveira. Trapped in zombie-infested Raccoon City. The third-person shooter also features tons of puzzles. “Resident Evil 3” will be available on PS4 and PS5.
In addition to the Marvel heroes in Midnight Sun, PS Plus also adds DC Villains with LEGO DC Super-Villains, available for purchase on PS4. This action-adventure platformer is a spin-off from the LEGO Batman series, allowing players to create custom supervillains from scratch. Starting March 19, all PS Plus game catalog games will be playable on PS4 and PS5. PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium subscribers will have access to these games. It’s worth noting that games available in the PlayStation game catalog cannot be added to your game library and can only be played if they are available on the service.
It was announced late last month that four free games will be available to all PS Plus members in March, including Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium tiers. These include Sifu, EA Sports F1 23, Hello Neighbor 2, and Destiny 2: Witch Queen.
