Newcastle United co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi has praised midfielder Elliot Anderson on Instagram for his performance against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in the Premier League on Friday evening.
Ghodoussi was impressed by how Anderson played for Newcastle against Forest, and has said that he is proud of the 20-year-old midfielder.
The Newcastle co-owner has also assured the youngster that he will eventually score for the Magpies.
Anderson had a goal for Newcastle against Forest ruled out.
That did not matter, though, as Eddie Howe’s side eventually won the Premier League match against relegation candidates Forest 2-1.
The result has enhanced Newcastle’s chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

In our view, Elliot Anderson played well for Newcastle United against Nottingham Forest.
The midfielder came on at half time and was able to make an impact for the Magpies.
Forest simply could not cope with Anderson, who imposed himself in the game and showed remarkable tactical flexibility.
Anderson has made one start and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle so far this season.
The 20-year-old also made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Carabao Cup and made one start in the FA Cup for Eddie Howe’s side this campaign.
