Kupwara, May 5: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of the concerned officials at DC Office Kupwara to review the progress of the major demonstration indicators (KPI) under the Accelerable District Program (ADP) for the upcoming financial year.
Addressing the meeting, DC emphasized all the officials and fulfilled the progress of major performance indicators under the encouraging district program to work with passion and energy.
She was impressed on them, which work in close coordination to ensure saturation of primarily sponsored schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Sur: Ma Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and other schemes.
On the occasion, DC set targets on various departments for saturation of these centrally sponsored schemes, which would improve overall results under the asphalt district program.
Rural Development Department Kupwara was directed to ensure percentage coverage of job card holders under the Surkasha Bima scheme, which would save workers from financial losses arising from leading accidents for death or disability.
Similarly, the husbands of agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and sheep will have to cover 5000 farmer beneficiaries in the first example to enroll under the Atal Pension Scheme with the aim of providing a minimum pension to the beneficiaries at the age of 60.
The lead district manager Kupwara was asked to share the checklist with the concerned departments, referring to all the formalities of the schemes for proper enrollment of the beneficiaries.
Departments were directed to organize awareness cum enrollment camp with banks for timely registration of beneficiaries.
DC attached the authorities to ensure maximum coverage of these social security schemes, which are targeted for the benefits and welfare of the population. (KDC)
