Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra shared that during her recent interaction with a group of dairy farmers in Kerala, she had an interesting encounter with a cow named ‘Alia Bhatt’.

In the same post, the Wayanad MP wrote about the challenges faced by India’s dairy farmers, many of whom are unable to make ends meet, and said she intended to write to the relevant ministries.
She wrote, “Unfortunately dairy farmers are facing many difficulties and many are unable to make ends meet. I would like to write to the concerned ministry to make them aware of the many issues they face, including the rising cost of veterinary medicines, lack of adequate insurance coverage and difficulty in accessing good quality animal feed.”

She said, “I am grateful to the many farmers who were so kind that they spent a lot of time explaining these issues to me. I will do whatever I can to help.”
Recently, he also criticized the Center for not waiving off loans of landslide victims in his constituency Wayanad, while waiving off loans of big businesses without hesitation. The Kerala High Court this week said the Modi-led government has “virtually failed” the victims of the 2024 landslide in Wayanad.
