A new exhibition cured by Wales princess Is ready to open in London,
Kate has highlighted the power of “historical objects” to influence “fashion, design, film, art”.

In a message written by Kate, displayed with an exhibition of its manufacturers and creators, she says: “Objects can tell a story. A collection of objects can create a story about our past and inspiration for the future.
“This performance celebrates our previous manufacturers and creators and shows how many historical objects can affect fashion, design, film, art and creativity today.
“Personal, unique objects can come together to create a collective complete that helps us to detect our social and cultural experiences and we play a role in the widespread tapestry of life.”
Other items include a dress by Oliver Mesell, one of the designers of the forefront of the UK, is worn in the production of sleeping beauty in the 1960 production of Royal Ballet by Diana Very for The Fairy of the Woodland Glade.

The exhibition of Kate’s manufacturers and creators is one of the more than 100 changing mini displays installed at the end of storage racking at the storehouse.
More than 500,000 creative functions – from individual items to the entire collection such as the Glstonebury Festival Archive – are stored on the site, the majority of the V&A collection.
