Prince William’s reply to fan when asked him about Prince Harry’s birthday

Prince Harry marked his 39th birthday on Saturday, and many wondered if his older brother, would extend birthday wishes to him, as one fan asked him if he had “forgotten” his younger brother’s big day.

While walking at the Sandringham Estate, the Prince of Wales assured Royal Family fans that he had not forgotten Harry’s birthday.

However, he did not make a public statement about his brother’s big day, which is customary to do for senior members of the Royal Family.

Harry spent his birthday at the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, Germany, alongside his wife,

The pair looked loved up with the massive crowd singing “happy birthday” to the Duke, as he clapped along.

While Prince William was walking at the Sandringham Estate on Friday, he assured crowds that he had not forgotten his brother’s birthday, according to The Sun.

One fan called out and asked the future monarch if he had forgotten Harry’s birthday.

Prince William replied: “It is his birthday today – you’re absolutely right, it is,” adding: “No, I’ve not forgotten.”

Jennie Bond, BBC‘s former royal correspondent, told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine that William has “no intention” to squash the feud with his younger brother after being “deeply” hurt by the claims he has made about the Firm.

King Charles also failed to publicly wish his youngest son a happy birthday.

In fact, despite always sharing a tribute to Harry in the past, nobody from the Royal Family shared birthday wishes to him this year.

Buckingham Palace’s official social media accounts instead spent the day posting about King Charles, Prince WilliamPrincess Kate, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh – without mentioning Prince Harry once.

Buckingham Palace has indicated that the Firm now only sends public birthday wishes to those who are senior working members.

Despite his family’s failure to publicly acknowledge his big day, Harry was showered with birthday wishes from friends and fans across the globe.

On the night of his birthday, the Sussexes attended a sitting volleyball match at the Merkur Spiel-Arena for the Invictus Games, which Harry founded in 2014.

After Harry and Meghan took their seats in the stands, the stadium announcer asked the crowd: “Is there anybody here celebrating their own special occasion today? Anyone’s birthday? Oh I think it is someone’s birthday. A certain Prince Harrythe Duke of Sussex, 39 today. Happy birthday! Let’s sing along.”

The crowd then joined in as Harry clapped along and smiled while Meghan mouthed “thank you” to the spectators.
