Workers are ‘desperately’ preparing Frogmore Cottage for Andrew, reports say

Reports say workers have been in and out of Frogmore Cottage for “weeks” to prepare for Prince Andrew.

sources told Sun People are working “day and night” on the cottage, which is being considered a possible option for Prince Andrew’s next home.

“People are working day and night inside Frogmore Cottage,” the source said. “The lights were on after dark over the weekend.

“And workmen have been coming and going for several weeks. It shouldn’t need too much work as Harry and Meghan spent £2.4million on renovations six years ago and no one has been there since, apart from Princess Eugenie for a few months during lockdown.”

Harry and Meghan, who lived in the cottage between April 2019 and March 2020, reportedly spent £2.4 million on renovations.

Where is Frogmore Cottage?

This cottage is located on the Frogmore Estate, part of Home Park in Windsor, England.

It was built near Frogmore House under the orders of Queen Charlotte.

However, it was not always known by its current name. Its original name was Double Garden Cottage.

Queen Victoria had breakfast there in 1875. A series of letters he wrote revealed that he had seen “an immense number of small frogs” during his brief time there, which he found “quite disgusting”.
