Prince Harry mentioned in court documents in Diddy’s sex trafficking case

Prince Harry’s name appears in a series of court documents related to the $30 million sex trafficking lawsuit facing US rapper and businessman Sean “Diddy” Combs.

A lawsuit filed by American music producer Rodney Jones claims the rap mogul’s music industry colleagues benefited from Combs’ connections to powerful people.

These are said to include the Duke of Sussex and other “well-known athletes, politicians, artists, musicians and international dignitaries”, but they are not named in the document.

It did not accuse Harry of any personal wrongdoing. He is not a defendant and is mentioned only once in the 73-page document. I The prince has been contacted for comment.

The lawsuit alleges that those who attended Combs’ parties gained legitimacy and access to various high-profile figures.

In 2007, Harry was photographed with the musician (formerly known as Diddy and P Diddy) and rapper Kanye West at a tribute concert for Princess Diana . Prince William also met with Coombs and West at the same event, but was not named in the document.

On Monday, U.S. federal agents searched two of Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami as part of an investigation into alleged sex trafficking.

Multiple sexual assault lawsuits have been filed against Combs in recent months.

In February, the music producer filed a lawsuit accusing Combs of forcing him to hire prostitutes and forcing him to have sex with them. “We have overwhelming, indisputable evidence that his claims are complete lies,” Combs’ attorney Sean Hawley said of the allegations.

Combs’ former protégé and girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, sued him in November, alleging years of sexual abuse, including rape. The lawsuit alleges he forced her to have sex with a male prostitute while filming her. The lawsuit was settled the day after it was filed.

Another of Combs’ accusers is a woman who says the rap producer raped her 20 years ago when she was 17.

Combs has denied all the accusations since they first emerged in December 2023, saying they were for a “quick payday” and that the posts on his X account were “disgusting.”

In a statement in December, he said: “I have not done any of the horrific things that I have been accused of.”

Combs, a record producer and music industry executive, is thought to have amassed a multi-million pound fortune since rising to fame in the early 1990s. He is credited with making important contributions to the careers of major stars including ’90s rapper Notorious BIG and R&B singers Mary J Blige and Usher.

He achieved many successes in his own right. His duet with Faith Evans, “I’ll Be Missing You,” sampled The Police’s 1983 hit “Every Breath You Take,” and was once considered the The 22nd best-selling song of all time in the UK.
