Prince Harry is set to return to his homeland in just over a week to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

A spokesperson for the sporting event confirmed that the Duke of Sussex will attend a Thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on Wednesday, May 8.

It’s unclear whether wife Meghan Markle will join the royal family with children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.

Harry is to speak at the event to mark a decade since the launch of the sporting event for wounded and ill military personnel and veterans.

Actor Damian Lewis is also expected to recite the poem Invictus at St Paul’s in honor of wounded servicemen and women.

A statement published on the Invictus Games’ social media said: “The Invictus Games Foundation will celebrate 10 years of changing and saving lives with a ‘Thanksgiving Service’ at St Paul’s Cathedral on 8 May.

“The occasion will include our Patron, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, actor Damian Lewis and members of the worldwide Invictus community.”
