The White House planned to limit intelligence with Congress members this week after initial assessment of damage caused by US attacks on nuclear sites, a senior White House official confirmed NBC News.
The administration has specifically planned to post less information on CAPNET, the system is used to share classified material with Congress, the official said.
This decision, which will not sit well with the Democrat almost, comes as the top cabinet officers, on Thursday afternoon to provide a classified briefing to the Senate members.
“The administration should immediately undo the decision,” the Senate Minority Leader Chak Shumar, DN.Y., told NBC News on Thursday. “They don’t want to see the facts to get out. Vargeons of Trump’s facts, which we know is often wrong.”

House speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., Expressed displeasure with President Donald Trump and his colleagues on the reporting of the initial assessment of the US strike on Iran on Thursday, stating that its nuclear program was sent back only three to six months.
Johnson told NBC News, “There was a leak, and we are trying to get down to his bottom. It is dangerous and ridiculous. We are going to solve that problem, and we will coordinate.” Asked if he felt that the leak had come from the Congress, the speaker replied, “This is my doubt.”
