Defense Minister Rajnath Singh while addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nation on Monday said that it is clear that any future talk with Pakistan will be completely on terrorism and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK).
In a post on X, Rajnath Singh said that PM Modi had presented India’s policy against terrorism with great clarity and perseverance to the world.
“In his address to the nation today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put India’s policy against terrorism with great clarity and perseverance. His address is not only an expression of India’s spirit, but it is also a presentation of our country’s military, diplomatic and moral power.
The Defense Minister praised PM Modi for appreciating the bravery and courage of the Indian Army during Operation Sindoor.
Rajnath Singh said, “He (PM) has openly praised the valor and courage of Indian forces during Operation Sindoor. The whole country is proud of the Indian forces. I thank the Prime Minister for his strong leadership.”
Meanwhile, in his address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India has only stopped its counterfeit works against terrorist sites and military establishments in Pakistan.
He emphasized that New Delhi will monitor Islamabad’s response in the coming days. Modi also announced that Operation represents India’s ongoing policy against vermilion terrorism, constructing on the 2016 surgical strikes and 2019 airstrikes.
“I am repeating again, we have stopped our retaliatory action against militants and military establishments only in Pakistan. In the coming days, every step taken by Pakistan will be measured. India’s armed forces, air forces, army and naval … with BSF and paramilitary forces, are vigilant with Surji Strike and aircraft.
PM Modi said that in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, more than 100 terrorists were killed in India’s accurate attacks on 7 May, killing 26 people.
“Terrorists attacked the vermilion of our sisters; we destroyed the headquarters of terrorists. India’s strike killed more than 100 terrorists. Many top terrorists, who had been roaming freely in Pakistan for the last two-three decades, had been conspiring against India, they were killed in a stroke,” he said.
India launched a surgical strike on the terrorist launch pad with LoC in 2016 and in 2019 a air strike on a terrorist camp in Pakistan.
