Went: President Draupadi Murmu will visit Gaya on Saturday to perform the sacred ritual of ‘Pind Dan’.
The President will pray for the peace and salvation of the ancestors at the world famous Vishnupada temple.
Gaji district administration is on high warning for the arrival of the President, finalizing both security and traffic routes plans.
To ensure the smooth movement of the President’s convoy, strict vehicle restrictions and variations will be implemented on the day.
According to the route map, the President will travel from Murmu Gaya Airport via Main Road, which passes through Gate No. 5 bypass, Ghughri Tad Baipass, Narayani Bridge and Bengali Ashram, which before reaching the Vishnupada temple. The return journey will follow the same route.
Domuhan’s Sakaria More, Gate No. 5 from City Public School, Chand Chaura Crossing, Bengali Ashram, and Ghughri Tad Baipass will apply. No vehicle movement is allowed during the President’s visit.
Barricing is placed at several points along the convoy route, and alternative arrangements are being made for the public.
During the Pitu Paksha period, it is considered highly auspicious for paying tribute to the ancestors, Gaizi attracts millions of devotees across the country every year.
The President’s participation in the ritual has added special importance to this year’s Mahasangam.
Beyond the visit of President Murmu’s Vishnupada temple, Gaya district administration has released a detailed traffic and security scheme, including optional routes and police deployment in major parts of the city.
To facilitate the smooth movement of the President’s convoy and to ensure public convenience, alternative traffic routes have been created.
From Bodh Gaya: Vehicles will use the four-lane gayaji-patna road via gularia checkpoint, chakand railway crossing, kandi nawada bypass, kukda modes, mehta pet pump, and rights publike School.
From City Public School: Traffic will be diverted through Mehta Petrol Pump, Kokra Mode, Kandi Nawada, Chakand Railway Gmati (Char-Len) before reaching the destination.
From Chand Chaura Crossing: Rajendra Ashram, Diggi Talab and DM will pass through Golmber before moving towards Vishnupada Temple.
The administration has also announced drop gates at several points during the program.
Heavy Police Deployment and Barricading have ben put in place at City Public School, Bhusanda Mod, Manpur Sitakund, Manpur Pul Hanuman Mandir, Ghughri Tad, Kanduyi ROD, GODAVYI RAD, Godavari ROAD, God, Godavari ROAD, God College, airport mod, bengali ashram mod domuhan, and dhanwa mod.
The district police has appealed to the public to cooperate with traffic variations and follow alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.
