The arson who set fire to the 5G mast is endangered by the police in North Ireland after the latest incident in Belfast.
A 5G tower in the middle of the city was set after midnight on Saturday morning after midnight. The incident is the latest in a series of similar arson attacks in Northern Ireland.
Detectives are now appealing to the public for any information regarding crime.
Detective Inspector Wilson said: “Authorities participate in this scene with colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire And rescue service, which extinguished the fire.
“It is only one of the 5G masts that have recently been set on fire and I cannot insist on the dangers of fire in electrical appliances.
“It is highly careless and those who are responsible are putting themselves and members of the public at serious risk.
“We are considering it as arson and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen anyone suspicious in this area or with CCTV or other footage that can help with inquiries, he is asked to contact detectives at 101 quotes reference reference 37 16/08/25.”
