York Regional Police is investigating a callus act of cruelty after shooting and killing a rabbit in a pneumarkate neighborhood on Sunday.
In Glenway Circle and Eagle Street West Area, a homeowner found the dead animal on his front lawn and called the police after 11 pm
After watching the surveillance video, investigators determined that the shooting took place around 6 am that morning.
In the video released by the police on Tuesday, a white Ford F-150 pickup truck can be seen driving and then stopping in front of a residence. The vehicle comes back and the same shot can be heard in a few moments, striking and killing the animal.

Police said, “Investigators are demanding any additional video surveillance from the area or anyone who may have captured the Dasakham video at the time the roadways.”
“Anyone who has not yet talked to the police is asked to come forward.”
