Police in York region are searching for a man when a woman was allegedly sexually harassed in Markhm.
Investigators say that a woman was walking south on Kennedy Road towards Denison Street on 4 August when she was approached by a person she did not know. After being engaged in a conversation, the man allegedly touched her sexually.
Police say that the person chased him at a shopping center near him and waited for the shopping to finish. Then he started talking to him, allegedly on Kennedy Road, before following his north, he started touching him sexually.
The man is described as five feet six, 150 pounds, with a thick beard and long black hair in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue jeans and work boots.
Anyone is asked to contact the police along with the information of the man’s whereabouts.
