“The officials worked in the pace to gather evidence including CCTV footage and witnesses, although the victim did not wish to provide a statement to the investigation.
“We presented the prosecution file to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) – which is responsible for considering the available evidence and deciding if it comes from the legal limit to charge someone with a crime.
“After reviewing the available evidence, CPS concluded that there was no realistic possibility of punishment and therefore there would be no criminal allegations in the case.”
