Police say

Officials say a homeowner of a Brampton was taken to a trauma center on Thursday, when he was allegedly shot in a back during a suspected domestic invasion, said.

According to the Peel Regional Police, the incident occurred at around 12:30 pm near the Springview Drive and Silkwood Crescent, which took place in the east of McLaglin Road.

Investigators believe that two unknown suspects broke into the residence of the victim. When the officials reached the spot, they were the owners of the house with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a trauma center with non-janleva injuries and is in a stable position.

So far, the police have not made any arrests. They say that an investigation is on.
