The incident occurred in the field of Martha Eaton Way and Tradeway Drive after midnight of Saturday, August 16. Officials responded to the reports of bullets and arrived inside their house to find a young boy suffering from a gun pellet wound.
Police say the child, Recognized as Jahwai Roy of TorontoA stray shot was shot. Life -saving measures were initiated, and were rushed to the hospital via emergency runs, but were later declared dead.
Investigators now believe that a white Acura was involved in shooting and is asking the public to identify and find out the public. Car images have been released.
The suspect or suspect escaped before the police arrived. Officials have not revealed that the shoot was targeted or random, but says the investigation is active.
