Police issued a warrant for suspect in connection with Markham shooting

The investigators of the York Regional Police (YRP) have issued a Canadian-wide warrant for a 35-year-old man regarding shooting in Markhm earlier this year.

Officers were called in the fields of Lee Avenue and Noble Street around 5:30 pm on January 21 for the shooting report.

On arrival, he was found to be a woman suffering from gun bullet. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital with non-janleva injuries.

Police say that Andrew Chao Chen of Markham wants to attempt to murder and conspiracy to kill.

Police said, “Chen is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, citizens are urged not to contact him, but call the police immediately.”
