Welsh police have issued a warning to fans not to bring pyrotechnic devices into Cardiff City Stadium ahead of tonight’s crucial European Championship play-off tie.
The Dragons will face Poland to get a spot in the European Cup Germany this summer.
If successful, Wales will join England and Scotland they have qualified for the competition.
South Wales Police said they had developed a “policing plan” for the play-off final.
Seven Polish fans arrested after a Nations League match between the two countries cardiff 18 months ago.
Four of the people were arrested on suspicion of possession of fireworks.
Superintendent Steve Rees said police were working “closely” with Cardiff City Stadium staff and said fans should follow the advice of the Football Association of Wales (FAW).
He added: “Possessing a pyrotechnic device at a football match, or attempting to bring a pyrotechnic device into a football stadium, is a criminal offense and anyone found guilty of such an offense will face arrest and a banning order.”

A spokesperson for the Football Association of Wales said anyone carrying a pyrotechnic device at a football match or attempting to bring a pyrotechnic device into a stadium would also face a Welsh match ban.
A spokesman added: “The use of fireworks in spectator areas at football events carries a number of health risks and dangers, such as blindness and the removal of limbs or fingers due to their explosive power.”
