A police chief Outside the work has been suspended after raising serious concerns about his behavior.

“In public interests, Staffordshire Police and Chief Constable Met, I have decided to suspend Mr. Noble from my role pending the result of IOPC investigation.

Mr. Adams said: “I know the announcement will come as a blow for Staffordshire, especially for our hard -working officers and employees, but it is true that the allegations of this serious nature are constantly and properly and well.”
The police and the fire commissioner said that their team is working to identify a temporary chief constable.
A spokesman for IOPC said: “We received compulsory referrals from Staffordshire Police Chief Constable Chris Noble on 30 April, 27 June and 29 July this year from the office of Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner of Staffordshire of Fire and Crime Commissioner.
“Referrals belong to reports that we have raised serious concerns over Mr. Noble’s behavior outside our work duties.
“Mr. Noble’s appointment of Mr. Noble’s appointment as the main constable for Staffordshire Police.
“IOPC is also investigating Shri Nobel separately, he shared confidential information without the purpose of proper policing on the allegations.
“It took place in 2024 after a referral from the office of Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Staffordshire.

A spokesman for the Staff Association of Chief Police Officers said: “Chief Constable Chris Noble completely and clearly denies any wrongdoing, and IOPC will continue to cooperate fully with investigation.”
