Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says he arrested a 67 -year -old man after shooting his neighbor’s dog in Peterbaro County.
Police say they were called to the spot on Sunday morning when the dog owners said their pet was missing for about a week.
The OPP says the family heard the sound of bullets around the time when the dog went missing.
He says that the family believed that his dog was shot dead by his neighbor.
After talking to all the parties involved, the police say they accused the neighbor of killing or injuring animals.
Police say he is expected to appear in court in September.
