Continuing its efforts to eradicate the danger of drugs from the society, the police arrested a drug pedal in Genderbal and recovered psychotropic substances from its possession.
A spokesperson said that the police party’s police party Kheerbavani was intercepted at a checkpoint installed at Barosa Chowk, who tried to flee the Naka party from the spot and was cleverly caught. He has been identified as Abdul Hameed Dar Sarai Dangerpora Bandipora’s son of Abdul Hameed Dar. During the search, the Contraband substance (codeine phosphate) was recovered from their possession and later arrested.
Accordingly, a case of FIR No. 17/2025 under the relevant sections of the police has been registered at Police Station Kheerbavani and investigation has been initiated.
