poland has offered ukraine Generator lifeline, standby power, and access to its LNG terminal, such as Russia has intensified its bombing of the country energy Infrastructure.
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski’s pledge comes after recent Russian attacks that plunged large parts of Kiev into darkness. On Friday, power was temporarily cut off to an estimated 600,000 homes across Ukraine.
Speaking during a visit to Lviv, Mr Sikorski underlined Poland’s commitment to supporting its eastern neighbour.
He confirmed: “Generators, additional power supplies, prompt construction of electricity connections between Ukraine and Poland, and, of course, our LNG terminal in Świnoujście are at your disposal.”
He condemned the attacks as a deliberate strategy and said: “This is another escalation, because we know why it is being done. The aim is to scare people before winter.”
In August, Polish refiner Orlen said it aimed to continue supplying 100 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas to Ukraine per month, having already supplied 430 mcm of gas this year.

Liquefied fuel is imported from the United States to the terminal in Świnoujście and shipped from Poland to Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky described the attack as a “cynical and deliberate” operation, which used more than 450 drones and more than three dozen missiles.
Governor Mykola Kalashnik said about 110,000 consumers were without power in the Kyiv region on Friday morning.

According to local officials, the attack also damaged energy infrastructure in the central area of Poltava, where about 17,000 consumers were without electricity.
Ukrainian private energy company DTEK said its thermal power plants were significantly damaged in the attack, but did not immediately provide further details.
