PM Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ will reach every student even in remote corners through satellite, radio and social media.

The Central Government has asked all Ministries and Departments to ensure that the upcoming ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program reaches students in every corner of the country, including telecast in remote areas through EDUSAT – especially Education A government communications satellite for the area – Internet access. On appliances and radio.

Pariksha Pe Charcha, or PPC, is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual interaction with school students, teachers and parents. In it he addresses questions on exam-related stress and anxiety. This will be the seventh edition of the PPC, which will be held on January 29 at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan.

The Education Ministry, in a letter to all ministries and departments, has directed officials to issue instructions to make necessary arrangements so that all students of class 6 and above in schools and other educational institutions can watch or listen to the telecast.

“Apart from television broadcast, viewing facility can also be arranged through EduSat and on internet access devices like computers, laptops, mobiles. In remote areas, where it is not possible to make arrangements for watching television, radio/transistor may be used to listen to the Prime Minister’s conversation…this may be given top priority,” the letter reads.

It also said that the conversation will be telecast live by Doordarshan through DD National, DD News and DD India. It will also be available through live broadcast on radio channels including All India Radio Medium Wave and All India Radio FM channel. The event will also be live streamed on government websites such as PMO, MOE (including its YouTube and Swayam Prabha channels), Doordarshan, MyGov.in and Facebook Live.

This interaction will take place with students of class 9 and above selected through a competition on the MyGov app.

According to the Education Ministry, more than one crore people, including students, teachers and parents – the highest since the program began in 2018 – have registered this year. So far, more than 90 lakh students, more than 8 lakh teachers and about 2 lakh parents have been registered on the MyGov portal.

Last year, a total of 38.80 lakh students, of which 16 lakh were from state boards, had registered for the event, the ministry had said in a statement earlier this month. It was also said that this year the event will be held in town hall format starting at 11 am. At least 4,000 participants will interact with Prime Minister Modi. Two students and one teacher from each State and Union Territory and winners of Kala Utsav and Veer Gatha competition may be invited as special guests for the main event.

PPC is part of the larger movement Exam Warriors led by the Prime Minister, who has previously written a book on the subject, about creating a stress-free environment where the unique individuality of each child is celebrated, encouraged and and are allowed to express themselves fully.
