PM Modi’s Karnataka tour: Road show in Udupi, rituals at Sri Krishna Math and other things on the agenda

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Udupi, Karnataka on Friday, 28 November. During his visit, the Prime Minister will participate in several religious and public events.

As per the schedule, he will leave from New Delhi at 8:15 am on November 28, reach Mangaluru airport at 11:05 am and then travel to Udupi by Indian Air Force helicopter.

As per his itinerary, Prime Minister

Will hold a road show in Udupi on 28th November. According to BJP district president Kutyaru Naveen Shetty, the road show will start from Narayanaguru Circle in Bannanje at 11.40 am and go up to Kalasanka Junction.

Cultural programs representing coastal Karnataka traditions, such as Yakshagana, tiger dance troupes and Krishna-themed artistes, will take place on the route. Barricades will be erected on one side of the road, and the party expects around 30,000 people to line up along the route to welcome the Prime Minister.

According to the BJP minister, people have been instructed to take their positions on the Bannanje-Kalasanka route by 10.30 am.

After the road show, Late. PM Modi He is scheduled to visit the historic Sri Krishna Math around noon, where he will participate in rituals and address the public.

According to Paryaya Puttige Math seer Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji, PM Modi will attend the Laksha Kantha Geetha Parayana (one lakh voice Gita chanting) and inaugurate the newly erected Suvarna Teertha Mantapa during his visit.

“He will first pay floral tributes to saint-poet Kanakadas and then unveil the golden cover placed over the Kanakana Kindi,” Swami said.

The Prime Minister will be greeted with a poorana kumbha (traditional honor) and will have the darshan of Lord Sri Krishna, Mukhyaprana Devaru, and Suvarna Paduke.

His journey also included stops at Sarvajna Peeth, Gaushala and Geeta Mandir. Later, he will participate in the public event and recite selected concluding verses from the 18th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita during the mass chanting programme.

“After the recitation, Parayana Puttige Matha will honor Prime MinistersR. He will also receive initiation for the Koti Geeta Lekhan Yagya (one crore Geeta writing initiative),” the seer said.

Union minister Pralhad Joshi, BJP state president BY Vijayendra, Kota MPs Srinivas Pujari and Brijesh Chauta along with district MLAs and top leaders of the state are also expected to attend the event.

In view of Modi’s visit on Friday, the Udupi district administration has declared a holiday for educational institutions up to high schools in Udupi Town, Malpe and Manipal police station areas.

After the program in the city, he will return to Mangaluru airport at 2:10 pm and then proceed to Goa. He will unveil a 77-feet tall bronze statue of Lord Ram at Sri Sansthan Gokarna Jeevottam Math in South Goa district on Thursday.
