New Delhi: Preparations are underway in Ayodhya for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming Ram temple visit, where he is scheduled to hoist the flag as part of a special ceremony.
Building Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra shared key information about the ongoing completion works at the temple and the Prime Minister’s visit after a review meeting.
Mishra said, “The Prime Minister’s work was discussed in yesterday’s meeting. He will hoist the flag at the temple and if possible, will also visit Parikota to see the murals.”
“Preparations are underway keeping in mind the interest of the Sapta Mandir and the sages’ ashrams. The martyr memorial pillar will be made of metal, the old temple will be preserved and symbolic lights will be added. The aim is to ensure that the temple is completely ready by 2025, with a yatra planned for November,” he said.
Earlier, about the arrangements being made for the celebrations, he had said, “Devotees will not be allowed for darshan on November 25. Only invitees will get the opportunity to have darshan of the Lord, and arrangements are being made for around 8,000 invitees.”
He said, “Devotees will be allowed to have darshan from the next day. As far as the question of whether devotees will be able to move freely in all areas without security check is concerned, the Trust is considering it. My constant endeavor is to ensure that everything made here is dedicated to the devotees.
The Ram Mandir Trust is closely coordinating arrangements for the event, with special attention to security, seating and ceremonial arrangements for the dignitaries and guests.
Metal memorial pillars, conservation of the old temple structure and symbolic lighting arrangements are being finalized to enhance the spiritual and cultural significance of the site.
The flag hoisting ceremony on November 25 is expected to be a major milestone in the development of the temple, marking the completion of construction ahead of its full inauguration in 2025.
