Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Adampur Airport in Jalandhar on Tuesday and interacted with air warriors after ending enmity between India and Pakistan.
PM Modi was also given information on the basis of Air Force personnel.
“This morning, I went to AFS Adampur and met our brave aerial warriors and soldiers. It was a very special experience to be with those who are a symbol of courage, determination and fearlessness. India is grateful to our armed forces forever, who does everything for our nation,” PM said in a post on X.
Adampur Aadhaar was one of the active air base during OP Sindoor. On Monday, DG Air Operations Air Marshal Ak Bharti said Operation Sindoor was aimed at targeting terrorists, not to join Pakistan’s military or Pakistani citizens.
Addressing a press briefing, Air Marshal Bharti said, “Our fight is with terrorists, our fight is not with the military of Pakistan or Pakistan, so it is very clear. We are very clear in our targeting.”
Air Marshal insisted that the Indian armed forces demonstrated their effectiveness through accurate attacks during Operation Sindoor.
“Our counter systems and trained air defense operators are fully capable, and the indigenous capacity of our country has proved its effectiveness. It has been displayed that no matter what kind of technology emerges, we are ready to combat it. There is no need for excessive words, you have seen with your own eyes that we have distributed,” he said.
On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the forces Had ben giving full freedom to wipe out terrs. In his address to the nation, PM modi said, “Every terror organization now knows’ ki hamari behano, betiyon ke maathe se sindoor hatane ka anjaam kya hota hai.”
PM Modi said that the Indian Air Force, Army Navy, Border Security Force and India’s paramilitary forces are consistently alert.
“After the surgical strike and airstrike, now Operation Sindoor is India’s policy against terrorism. Operation Sindoor has created a new benchmark in our fight against terrorism and established a new parameter and new general,” he said.
“First, if there is a terrorist attack on India, a suitable answer will be given. We will only give a response on our terms. We will take strict action everywhere, from where the roots of terrorism come out. Secondly, India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail.
PM Modi said that India will not distinguish between the government sponsoring the mastermind of terrorism and terrorism.
Operation Sindoor was launched on May 7 to attack several terrorist sites in Pakistan and in Pakistan-Kashmir-Kashmir, in vengeance for a deadly attack in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in Pakistan-Kashmir-Kashmir, in which 26 tourists were killed.
