Also, there is no bilateral meeting scheduled between PM Modi and US President Donald Trump this year as the two will not meet at the summit. The report said Modi’s diplomatic calendar will focus on the G20 summit in South Africa in November, which Trump will not attend.
As of now, there is no clarity on the schedule of the QUAD summit, which India is scheduled to host later this year.
On the other hand, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will represent India in the meetings.
