PM Modi, top BJP leaders attend NDA parliamentary meeting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reached the Parliament Library Building on Tuesday to attend the meeting of the National President JP Nadda National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party.

Union Parliamentary Minister Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut were also among the prominent leaders present in the meeting.

An important meeting of the NDA Parliamentary Party is scheduled today at the Parliament Library Building. Members of both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are participating in the meeting.

The meeting is held at a time when the proceedings of Parliament have been repeatedly interrupted on the demand of the opposition to discuss the special intensive amendment (SIR) of the election role in Bihar. The opposition has also demanded a return to head practice.

On Monday, due to the protests issued by opposition MPs on Lok Sabha National Sports Governance Bill, 2025, and National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill, 2025, the National Sports Government Bill and National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill did not take place.

Meanwhile, the leaders of India Block will meet at the Parliament Library Building at 10 am on Tuesday in the office of the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha.

After the meeting, coalition MPs will protest against the special intensive amendment (SIR) of the election role in Bihar at 10:30 am in front of Makar Dwarf in Parliament. The protest will be held, ‘Our vote, our right, our fight’.

The Lok Sabha will start its proceedings today, which will be with Obituari contexts for the passage of former MPs Tilakhari Prasad Singh, Ram Rati Bind and Shibu Soren.

According to the list of business released by the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Union Sports Minister Mansuh Mandavia has been scheduled to amend the National Doping Act, 2022 for consideration and passage in the House. The Union Sports Minister will also transfer the National Sports Government Bill, 2025 to the lower house of Parliament. (AI)
