New Delhi, September 17 (IANS) On the occasion of his birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bhansola village in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, where he will lay the foundation stone for the first PM Mitra (Mega Integrated Textile Area and Apparel) park, which is a major step towards promoting the textile industry in the state.
This initiative is part of the seven such textile hubs employed across the country under the PM Mitra Yojana.
During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will also take two major national initiatives, ‘Health Nari, Sashkat Parivar’ (Healthy Women, Strong Family) and Eighth Nation Four Month (National Nutrition Month), to strengthen the health and nutritional services of the country, especially for women, children and humans.
More than one lakh health camps will be organized across the country from September 17 to October 2, marking India’s largest health outreach campaign. These camps will provide female-focused preventives, campaigners and remedial health services, including non-communicable diseases, anemia, tuberculosis and sickle cell diseases as well as screening for maternal and juvenile health check-up, vaccination, and nutrition counseling.
Specific services in gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology, ENT, psychiatry, and more will be collected through public and private medical institutions. Blood donation drives will be held across the country, in which donors are registered through the e-contact portal and will be engaged through the Mygov platform.
Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be present during the Prime Minister’s visit.
In a major push for maternal welfare, the Prime Minister will transfer digital assistance under the Prime Minister Matru Matru Vandana Yojana to benefit about 10 lakh women across the country.
He will also launch Suman Sakhi Sakbot designed to provide timely and accurate health information to pregnant women in rural and remote areas, which will promote more awareness about maternal and child health.
Taking forward tribal welfare, PM Modi will unveil ‘Adi Seva Parv’, etc. will focus on overall development in tribal areas through health, education, livelihood, sanitation and environmental initiatives as part of the campaign. The launch will include the distribution of forest crore sickle cell screening and counseling card in Madhya Pradesh.
Promoting environmental protection and women empowerment, PM Modi will give a seeping gift to a beneficiary of a woman self-help group under the ‘Ek Bagia Maa Naam’ initiative.
Supported with the resources required for plant care and safety, more than 10,000 women will participate in the development of ‘Maa Ki Bagiya’ across the state.
PM Modi has also been determined to address a large public meeting, which marks the importance of this day as a historic moment in the development of the state and is India’s commitment to inclusive health, nutrition and industrial development.
