The Prime Minister will reach Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Babatpur on Friday. From there they plan to go straight to BLW Guest House.
He will also hold a meeting with senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and prominent personalities of the region on Friday.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Modi will flag off four new Vande Bharat Express trains at around 8:15 am on Saturday, November 8. Additional trains will operate on Banaras-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Ferozepur-Delhi and Ernakulam-Bengaluru routes.
The Banaras-Khajuraho service will connect important religious and cultural sites, reducing travel time by about three hours and benefiting tourism in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The Lucknow-Saharanpur train, covering central and western Uttar Pradesh, will save passengers about an hour and improve accessibility to the holy city of Haridwar.
In North India, the Firozpur-Delhi route will provide a faster link between the capital and major cities of Punjab, boosting economic growth in the border areas, while in South India, the Ernakulam-Bengaluru Express will connect major IT and commercial hubs in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, reducing travel time by more than two hours.
On November 8 at around 5 pm, he will inaugurate the National Conference on “Strengthening the Legal Aid Delivery Mechanism” at the Supreme Court of India.
During the programme, the Prime Minister will launch the Community Mediation Training Module prepared by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA). The two-day conference of NALSA will focus on key areas of the legal services framework, including legal aid defense consultancy system, panel lawyers, para-legal volunteers, Permanent Lok Adalat and financial management of legal service institutions.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi inaugurated the year-long commemoration of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.
