New Delhi, Nov 18 (AANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu on Wednesday to release the 21st installment of PM-Kisan, release a commemorative coin, visit places of worship and hold an agriculture summit among other events.
On the eve of his departure, PM Modi wrote on Twitter, “I look forward to being among my sisters and brothers of Andhra Pradesh tomorrow, November 19, in Puttaparthi to participate in the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.”
He also highlighted the life of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and his efforts for community service and spiritual awakening of the society.
According to PM Modi’s schedule for Wednesday, he will visit the holy temple and Mahasamadhi of Lord Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh at around 10 am and pay homage.
The Prime Minister will participate in the centenary celebrations of Lord Sri Sathya Sai Baba at around 10.30 am, a statement said.
On this occasion, he will release a commemorative coin and a set of stamps honoring the life, teachings and enduring legacy of Lord Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He will also address the gathering during the program.
Next, the Prime Minister will travel to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where he will inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit 2025 at around 1.30 pm.
During the event, PM Modi will release the 21st installment of PM-KISAN amounting to over Rs 18,000 crore to support 9 crore farmers across the country. PM will also address the gathering on this occasion.
The South India Natural Farming Summit 2025, to be held from November 19 to 21, is being organized by Tamil Nadu Natural Farming Stakeholders Forum.
The summit aims to promote sustainable, eco-friendly and chemical-free agricultural practices and accelerate the shift towards natural and regenerative farming as a viable, climate-smart and economically sustainable model for India’s agricultural future.
The summit will also focus on building market linkages for farmer-producer organizations and rural entrepreneurs by showcasing innovations in organic inputs, agro-processing, eco-friendly packaging and indigenous technologies.
More than 50,000 farmers, natural cultivators, scientists, organic input suppliers, vendors and stakeholders from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh will participate in the event.
