PM Modi to start projects in Arunachal, redevelopment temple in Tripura on Monday

New Delhi, September 21 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura on Monday (September 22), where he will lay the foundation for several major infrastructure projects and inaugurated the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple.

The Prime Minister will first visit Arunachal Pradesh, where he will lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than Rs 5,100 crore in Itanagar. He will also address a public function.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of two major hydroelectric projects in Itanagar, using the capacity of huge hydroelectric and promoting permanent energy production in the region.

According to a government press release, HEO Hydro Electric Project (240 MW) and Tato-I Hydro Electric Project (186 MW) will be developed in Siom sub-basin in Arunachal Pradesh.

PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of a state -of -the -art Convention Center in Tawang. Located more than 9,820 feet in the Frontier district of Tawang, the Center will serve as a historical feature to host national and international conferences, cultural festivals and exhibitions.

With the ability to host more than 1,500 delegates, the convention center will meet global standards and support the tourism and cultural capacity of the region.

The Prime Minister will also start several major infrastructure projects of more than Rs 1,290 crore, which will include catering, health, fire safety, and working women hostels in various fields. These initiatives are expected to catalyze economic activities, improve the quality of life and increase connectivity in the field, the press note is mentioned.

The Prime Minister will also recently hold talks with local taxpayers, traders and industry representatives to discuss the impact of GST rate rationalization. This is in line with their vision to ensure ease of doing business and promote a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

After the visit to Arunachal Pradesh, the Prime Minister will land in Tripura, where he will inaugurate the development work of ‘Mata Tripura Sundari Temple Complex’ in Matabari under the pilgrimage rejuvenation and spiritual heritage growth drive (Prasad) scheme.

It is one of the ancient 51 Shakti stomachs located in Udaipur city of Gomti district of Tripura. According to officials, it is in line with India’s commitment to promote and preserve India’s spiritual and cultural heritage.

Given the size of the view of a turtle from above, the project includes temple complex, new routes, renovated entrances and fencing, drainage system, a new three -storey complex, including stalls, meditation halls, guest houses, office rooms. This will play an important role for promoting tourism, creating employment and business opportunities and overall socio-economic development of the region.
