PM Modi to inaugurate 45,000 CR nuclear power project in Banswara, Rajasthan on 25 September

Jaipur, 18 September (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate a nuclear power project of Rs 45,000 crore in Banswara, Rajasthan on 25 September. The power plant is scheduled to generate 2,800 MW energy.

BJP state president Madan Rathor said that the project would mark a historic milestone for Rajasthan and the nation, which would strengthen energy security, infrastructure and regional development.

Rathore, currently addressed the media and made these announcements on Thursday, on the migration in Dungarpur -Bancasver.

He also spoke on key initiatives including seva pakhwada, atmanirbhar bharat sankalp abhiyan, and the upcoming GST Next Reforms.

Speaking to the press in Banswara, Rathore announced that the 45,000 crore nuclear power project would generate 2,800 MW of energy and would emerge as a historic milestone for both Rajasthan and the nation, which will greatly strengthen regional infrastructure, energy security, employment opportunities and investments.

Rathore said that the Center and State, Union Minister, Minister of State, public representatives and senior leadership of local dignitaries will attend the Prime Minister’s program.

He described the project as a decisive step for all-round development of Banswara and surrounding districts.

Emphasizing national unity, Rathore warned that “the forces that forces that disrupt the development and nation-building should never be encouraged. Political differences may exist, but any attempt to divide the society, damage the culture or weaken the Brotherhood should oppose both socially and legally, so that the path of development remains smooth.”

Addressing the media in Dungarpur, Rathore highlighted India’s growing industrial competition, saying that foreign tariff barriers cannot harm India’s strength.

He said that India’s cottage industry and entrepreneurs are capable of producing high quality, affordable goods for the global market, and even tariff hikes by foreign countries will only increase the cost for their own citizens.

He credited the GST reforms of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government and income tax relief to reduce the burden on ordinary citizens and small industries, made essential commodities, life saving medicines, agricultural equipment and raw materials of the cottage industry more cheap.

He said that these reforms have promoted local production and employment.

Referring to India’s flexibility during the Covid-19 epidemic, Rathore said that India not only protected its citizens through the production of PPE kits, medicines and vaccines, but also helped for many countries.

He said that today, India is moving forward in defense production, mobile manufacturing, toys and other domestic industries, causing the vision of self -reliant India.
