Bhopal, September 17 (IANS) On his 75th birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will mark the occasion with a series of effective initiatives during a visit to Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh.
In a grand public program, he will release a installment of the Pradhan Mantri Metro Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), which credits the accounts of more than a million female beneficiaries directly.
The scheme, which supports pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, is creating an important column in India’s maternal health and welfare strategy.
Connecting a symbolic and hearty touch at the ceremonies, the Prime Minister will launch the campaign ‘Ek Bagia Maa Nam’.
As part of this initiative, he will give a syrup gift to a woman of a self-help group, which would encourage over 10,000 women to cultivate gardens called ‘Ma Ki Bagiya’.
These gardens are conceived as a place of care, stability and community relations – honoring maternity by promoting environmental leadership.
With medical care, yoga, awareness session on Ayurveda and healthy life will be held to promote overall welfare across the state.
To ensure an initial detection and treatment of diseases related to malnutrition, nutrition camps will be organized across the state to further strengthen the outreach.
In addition, as a major boost for the textile sector, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for India’s first PM Mitra Textile Park in Bhansola village.
Spread over 2,158 acres, the park is ready to convert Madhya Pradesh into a cloth hub. By integrating the entire cotton processing chain within the state, initiative promises to reduce costs, save time and offer better prices to farmers.
This is expected to attract important investment and generate thousands of jobs, which will benefit both rural and urban communities.
Through these initiatives, Prime Minister Modi’s birthday will be more than a celebration – it is a day of empowerment, progress and renewed commitment for inclusive development.
From supporting women and farmers to healthcare and further industry, Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Dhar district showed the vision of development contained in compassion and stability.
